Life is a series of journeys, both physical and emotional. Regardless of the type of journey, we need to adjust our sails along the way. In this blog, I will share with you my passion for traveling, and planning my travels.
The best way to adjust your sails is to plan. When my husband and I book a trip, my adventure begins. In a way I enjoy the trip more than he does because I start planning it, living it, way before we depart.
Though we are not world travelers we have traveled quite a bit. For each of our journeys, I have delighted in creating specific itineraries. Each itinerary includes not only sights to see, but shops to visit, bars to encounter, and restaurants to savor. I even put together packing lists for each destination depending on location, weather, and atmosphere. I want to share this information with you.
I am including a sample itinerary below. It is as detailed as possible. We do not always stick to plan but we have all the information that we need to enjoy ourselves if we do not want to think about it. When you travel you do not want to waste time thinking about what to do next or finding addresses and phone numbers of places you want to visit. I know at times you just want to wander and go anywhere, and that is fine too…..but always have a backup plan.
I hope to hear from you soon.
